Stronghold is the community I built when I was a regular and active World of Warcraft(WOW) player.

From Humble Beginnings to Thriving Community: Building a World of Warcraft Guild

Driven by a passion for World of Warcraft and a desire to connect with fellow players, I embarked on a journey to build a community. What began as a small group for sharing achievements and forming in-game groups blossomed into a vibrant guild of over 1,000 members.

Cultivating a Connected Community

• Founded and nurtured a welcoming space: I established a foundation for passionate players, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
• Streamlined communication: Utilizing diverse channels like chat and voice, I ensured everyone stayed connected, informed, and engaged.
• Organized and led hundreds of successful ventures: Over 500 dungeon and raid groups navigated challenges together, fostering teamwork, strategic gameplay, and shared success.
• Inspired member contributions: By fostering collaboration, I encouraged the creation of valuable in-game items, resulting in the community boasting the largest guild vault on the server.

Beyond the Game

• Forged lasting friendships: The connections built transcended the game, forming enduring bonds with founding members that continue to this day.
• Adept leadership: I effectively managed a diverse group of individuals with varying preferences and playstyles, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

I never kept a tab on analytics, so I don't have exact number to share. However, I am still connected with a few of the initial members from the community. We get on occasional calls to talk. I find that to be a better achievement than anything else.
