A monthly, no-boundaries catch-up call for members to connect, collaborate, and share solutions to community management challenges they are facing.

I came up with the name When Retro Meets Metro when I listening to this band called "When Chai Met Toast". Where Retro represents the old members of the community and Metro represents the new members of the community.

The aim of this event series was to build a platform which allows the members to connect and discuss community topics.

The event had a free flow where we picked one topic that our members had been discussing. And one hot topic picked from the industry news and talks. We also introduced, case studies, kahoot games and community trivia to not let the event series become monotonous.

It was a member favorite event where we didn't send any extra reminders and yet the members showed up.
